Putnam County Schools is happy to announce the registration window for 2024 summer programs: April 22nd - May 10th! Currently enrolled and incoming kindergarten Putnam County Schools students are eligible to participate in programs offered for their grade level. ☀️The location of the elementary and middle school programs is Winfield Elementary School. Interested parents will enroll their child(ren). ☀️Japanese Immersion Camp will be located at Scott Teays Elementary. The camp is limited to the first 75 students enrolled by their families. ☀️Credit recovery programming is available for students enrolled in one of the four county high schools and will be located at Hurricane High and Poca High. School counselors will identify students who need to attend credit recovery and will contact families accordingly. School counselors enroll students in summer credit recovery. ☀️ The Driver Education summer program will be at the county driving range located at Poca High School. Interested parents will enroll their child(ren). ☀️Students identified as eligible for Extended School Year will work with the school IEP team to determine services and supports. Online registration begins April 22, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Registration will be open through May 10, 2024. Once online registration is complete, a confirmation email will be sent.
